Lana Lawrence, VP of Sales, brings a refreshing and heartfelt approach to her role. Focused on connection over transactions, Lana’s passion for helping others find alignment shines through in every interaction. Whether building community within the company or creating a legacy with her growing family, she embodies the spirit of thoughtful leadership and authentic growth.
Q1: What lights you up—both in and outside of work?
“Connection, hands down. Whether it’s with my family, friends, community, or even someone I just met—when I feel that spark of real, meaningful connection, I’m all in. I love helping people tap into their own light, whether that’s through a personal breakthrough or a professional opportunity. Supporting others in finding alignment—that’s my jam.”
Q2: How would you describe your role and how you really approach it?
“So, technically I am the VP of Sales, but the truth is, I do not see myself as someone who is here to ‘sell’ anything. I am basically a matchmaker for the building community, no swiping required. I focus on real communication and honest connection. My job is to listen, understand what people need, and help connect them with solutions or people that truly serve them. Being part of CBAS, a locally based, community-driven housing advisory firm, allows me to combine granular market insights with trusted local relationships. It is exciting to be part of a company that is growing thoughtfully, with connection and integrity at the core.”
Q3: What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
“Most people are surprised to find out I’m a grandma—though no one calls me that! I’m NiNi to my little crew, and hearing ‘Ni!’ echo across the land is hands-down my favorite sound in the world. I’m building a multigenerational family compound where we can all grow together—kids, grandkids, and future dreams included. It’s my soul project. That vision of connection and legacy fuels everything I do, even in my work. I’m not just building a life—I’m helping others build theirs, too. And yes—I still get carded.”
