Lawrence Dean is co-founder of Community Builders Advisory Services, the next great Texas-based and locally focused housing industry advisory firm. Prior to this new opportunity, Lawrence held the role of Senior Vice President, Homebuilder Lending with Veritex Community Bank. In this role he engaged with mid-sized to large volume homebuilders and land developers assisting with large scale construction lines of credit and acquisition/development financing. Prior to this role, Lawrence spent nearly a decade as the Houston Regional Director of Zonda (formerly Metrostudy), a definitive authority on the residential construction real estate and housing market. Lawrence also led a team in Metrostudy’s consulting entity advising diverse clients, including builders, developers, and investors, on specific sites and potential development programs.

Lawrence has also held management roles in land acquisition and development for some of the region’s largest builders, including Ryland, KB Home, and D.R. Horton. In the real estate consulting arena, he was also Vice President of a local boutique consulting firm. Lawrence is a graduate of the University of Houston and Texas A&M University.

Lawrence is the 2024 president of HomeAid Houston as well as serving as a Trustee of GHBA HomePAC and as a Director of Harris County Municipal Utility District #478.

Daniel Ware is an industry leader in land and housing data intelligence. His collaborative, innovative spirit fueled his success as Director of Business Development, at first Metrostudy and later Zonda. Danny possesses an intimate knowledge of the Houston housing market and residential real estate in general that is ideal for his role as Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for Community Builders Advisory Services.

Prior to working with Metrostudy, Danny held the title of Regional Director for Verizon Wireless. In this role he managed five districts and hundreds of employees on the Eastern seaboard from Manhattan to Washington, D.C. In his time with Verizon, Danny would work on all three coasts of the U.S. and was promoted faster in his eight years than anyone in the history of the company.

Mike Inselmann is the Co-Founder and Former President of Metrostudy, a company that grew to maintain the country’s largest primary database of housing market information under his guidance. Under his direction, Metrostudy grew from a small Houston-based business to a nationwide organization employing hundreds and serving nearly 50 of the nation’s largest new home markets. For decades, Mr. Inselmann has been a resource for those seeking well-informed, expert insight into the housing market, serving as the primary resource of information about housing trends for the National Association of Home Builders, local and state home builder associations, and governmental planning agencies. Mr. Inselmann remains active in the industry beyond his involvement with CBAS, serving on corporate and civic boards and engaging in subdivision development in the greater Houston area. A Rice University graduate, Mr. Inselmann has been a Houston resident for nearly 50 years.

Randy Stuewer has worked in the world of data management for most of his professional career, and his expertise spans real estate consulting, demographic analysis, and housing development. A Demographer for the Houston-Galveston Area Council and Demographic Analyst for the City of Houston, Randy has helped shape the region providing enrollment projections to school districts and population and employment forecasts for the 14-county Houston-Galveston region. As a native Houstonian and a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Economics, Randy combined local insight with analytical rigor to drive impactful results during his 12+ years at Metrostudy.

With a background in new home sales, residential and commercial real estate, business development, and property tax consultancy, Lana Lawrence understands the real estate market to the smallest detail. A licensed Realtor, Lana also served the real estate community as Director of Business Development at Zonda. As the Director of Research Operations & Market Development at Community Builders Advisory Services, Lana works hand-in-hand with the CBAS team to provide unparalleled data intelligence and advisory services to the land and housing sector. Her mission is to empower strategic decisions, improve risk management, and increase sales performance for our clients and partners.

As a driven college student pursuing an International Business Degree, I am committed to leveraging my passion for community building and innovative business strategies to foster inclusive and sustainable growth.
